Job summary

DoorDash is seeking an experienced technical operator for live testing, deployment, and validation of autonomous technologies within DoorDash Labs, the robotics arm of DoorDash. Join a cross-functional team at the intersection of engineering and operations to safely deploy and evaluate new capabilities.

You will lead testing across transport and safety validation, mentor junior colleagues, document complex test results, and feed actionable feedback to engineering.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of autonomous vehicle, robotics, or complex systems testing in live environments.
• Strong ability to troubleshoot and judge robot behavior.
• Experience partnering with engineering teams to drive product improvements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for cross-functional stakeholders.
• Familiarity with Linux, GitHub, Jira, and Jenkins for issue analysis and tracking.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee live testing across transport, deployment, and safety validation.
• Collaborate with hardware, software, and business operations teams to validate new capabilities.
• Document complex tests, identify issues, and provide actionable feedback to engineering.
• Develop testing processes, protocols, and checklists to improve safety and reliability.
• Mentor junior team members in debugging and documentation practices.
• Generate reports identifying trends and strategic recommendations.
