Job summary

DoorDash Labs is an independent team within DoorDash that explores robotics and automation to transform last mile logistics over the long term. We’re seeking a strong operator to conduct testing, deployment, and logging of new advanced technologies, working across the Phoenix area with two-week training in the Phoenix Arizona Area.

The role requires night and weekend shifts (2 PM–12 AM), potential rotation, and comfort riding an electric bike in day/night and traffic conditions.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience or strong interest in field operations and autonomous tech.
• Driver's license required; able to support multiple Phoenix locations.
• Comfortable riding electric bikes and working outside in day/night conditions.
• Experience with live field operations for deployment of products.
• Strong organizational and process skills; able to follow schedules including evenings/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Manage live tests actively in transport, deployment, and safety.
• Work closely with hardware, software, and business operations teams.
• Execute and document tests to verify autonomous technologies and identify issues.
• Maintain rigorous testing processes and checklists for safety and reliability.
