Rose International is seeking a Senior Autonomous Systems Engineer to support the loading, dozing, and compaction autonomous system integration on onsite roles in Mossville, IL. Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) with 5+ years in autonomous/embedded products, CAN/Ethernet comms, and experience with construction equipment autonomy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an accredited Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• Preferred Master’s degree.

Responsibilities

• Modify existing databases and database management systems or direct programmers and analysts to make changes.
• Write and code logical and physical database descriptions and specify identifiers of database to the management system or direct others in coding descriptions.
• Work as part of a project team to coordinate database development and determine project scope and limitations.
• Review project requests describing database user needs to estimate time and cost required to accomplish project.
• Applying new autonomous system solutions and technologies on a semi or full autonomous system.
• Decomposition of Customer requirements into system level requirements including both hardware and software related requirements.
• Managing system level requirements and related features in DevOps.
• Work closely with Machine System teams to determine the best way to deliver on machine autonomous features, including component selection and system integration.
• Ensure clear documentation and traceability.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for Surface Loading Machine Autonomous Solutions.
• Communicates system readiness and technical risk to stakeholders.
