Job summary

Greywright Inc. in Boston is seeking a senior systems architect to own and evolve the architecture for its autonomous platforms, from vehicle to command-and-control, including the expansion of the autonomy stack to new capabilities and platforms.

You will design open, modular interfaces and lead trade studies to balance performance, risk, and cost. You will drive MBSE practices (SysML), derive system requirements, and define ICDs across hardware, software, data, power, and communications.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Engineering or related field; 10+ years in engineering
• 5+ years architecting autonomous or uncrewed systems
• Experience integrating third-party or OEM systems
• Experience extending an autonomy stack and MBSE
• Ability to manage interface control documents and system requirements
• Willingness to travel up to 50%
• US person status for ITAR/EAR data access

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve system-of-systems architecture for autonomous platforms.
• Lead integration with OEM systems and manage external dependencies.
• Define and control interfaces (ICDs) across hardware, software, data, power, and comms.
• Derive and flow down system requirements; maintain MBSE models (SysML).
• Lead architecture trade studies balancing performance, risk, cost, and schedule.
• Guide GNC, software, hardware, and test teams to align with architecture.
• Engage in design reviews and integration planning with OEM partners and customers.
