Job summary

BrightSpring Health Services, through Rehab Without Walls Neuro Rehabilitation, seeks a Speech Language Pathologist for a PRN role in Florence, SC. The position emphasizes delivering therapy in home, school, work, and community settings and requires autonomy and teamwork.

Responsibilities include evaluations, treatment planning, progress communication, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes. A Master's in SLP and current license are required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited Speech Language Pathology program.
• Valid Speech Language Pathology license in the state(s) of practice.
• Current CPR Certification.
• Minimum of one year's work experience as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques related to complex neurological injury preferred.
• Demonstrates effective and professional communication in verbal and written interactions.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and transfer patients as needed.
• Physical requirements include walking/standing for extended periods and other movements.

Responsibilities

• Perform evaluations and develop treatment plans for patients with speech, language, cognitive and swallowing disorders.
• Regularly reassess effectiveness of treatment plans, attend staffing meetings and family conferences.
• Perform discharge evaluations and provide home and community safety resources.
• Communicate patient Needs and progress to the treatment team, physician, patient and family members.
• Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure coordination of care and improve patient outcomes.
