Job summary

Intelletec is assisting a fast-growing defense technology company in finding a Software Engineer, Robotics & Integration. The role involves hands-on work across the full integration stack, assembling autonomous systems with hardware, software, sensors, and robotic platforms.

You will own complex integrations from connection to deployment and collaborate across backend, embedded, and integration systems. Location is NY/NJ with a compensation package up to $220,000 base salary.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of software development experience.
• Strong skills in Java, C++, Python.
• Experience with Linux, networking, APIs, devices, or distributed systems.
• Familiarity with real-time systems, control loops, or embedded platforms.
• Comfortable working closely with hardware and complex systems.

Responsibilities

• Integrate robotic platforms, sensors, payloads, and third-party technologies.
• Write production code across backend, embedded, and integration systems.
• Work with flight controllers, device communication, APIs, and networking.
• Debug issues across software, hardware, devices, and operator workflows.
• Test systems in simulation, lab, and real-world environments.
• Own complex integrations from initial connection through deployment.
