Job summary

Renu Robotics is seeking a Field Service Technician III in San Antonio, TX to install, commission and service autonomous robotic equipment at customer sites across the United States. The role requires strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, willingness to travel, and the ability to work independently in the field while coordinating with Mission Control, Engineering, and Customer Operations.

You will perform installations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and training, while adhering to safety

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Technical degree or certification in electrical, mechanical, automotive, industrial maintenance, robotics, or related field.
• Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems.
• Ability to utilize computers, mobile devices, software applications, and troubleshooting tools.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to travel extensively throughout the United States and be away from home for periods of up to 2–3 consecutive weeks.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and/or independently with remote support and minimal supervision.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Must pass a pre-employment background check and MVR if driving is essential.

Responsibilities

• Install and commission autonomous robotic equipment at customer sites, ensuring proper configuration and operation.
• Perform regular maintenance and troubleshoot issues to ensure reliability.
• Provide technical support and build positive relationships with customers.
• Maintain detailed records of installations, maintenance, and repairs with reports, photos, and videos.
• Ensure safety and regulatory compliance when working around electrical systems and batteries.
• Provide training to customers and company personnel on operation and basic troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with Mission Control, Engineering, and Operations teams regarding performance and field issues.
• Lead or assist with continuous improvement based on field feedback.
