Job summary

Chesapeake Retina Centers in Southern Maryland and the Annapolis region is seeking a third Retina specialist. The practice is physician-owned with autonomy to shape your own referral base and clinical focus. Preference for surgical retina but medical retina applicants will be considered.

We offer partnership after two years, a production bonus structure, and a supportive referral network. Candidates must be board-certified or board-eligible ophthalmologists with an accredited vitreoretinal

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible ophthalmologist with an accredited vitreoretinal fellowship.
• Eligible for Maryland medical licensure.
• Strong clinical and (optional) surgical skills with a commitment to high-quality patient care.
• Willingness to travel between office locations.
• Interest in building and growing a personal referral base within an established practice.
• Willingness to participate in physician outreach, community engagement, and practice marketing activities.
• Mature, self-directed, and comfortable practicing with a high degree of professional autonomy.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with patients, referring physicians, staff, and fellow physicians.
