Job summary

FOX Rehabilitation in Harrisonburg, VA is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist to deliver one-on-one care in homes and senior living communities, with the option to incorporate telehealth to extend access.

You’ll evaluate, develop plans of care, and provide evidence-based treatment while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team. Build meaningful patient relationships and manage your own schedule.

Qualifications

• Valid Occupational Therapy license in the state(s) of practice.
• Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Basic computer and EMR proficiency.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one OT to older adults in homes or senior living communities.
• Perform evaluations, develop individualized plans of care, and deliver evidence-based treatment.
• Deliver therapy sessions that support wellness, mobility, and independence.
• Document effectively within FOX’s EMR system per regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team (PTs, OTs, SLPs, Fitness Specialists).
• Educate patients, caregivers, and staff to promote safety and aging in place.
• Provide telehealth/virtual care when appropriate to extend access.
