Job summary

UCSF Medical Center is seeking a Nurse Practitioner Per Diem to join the ambulatory care Cancer Center Infusion APP team in San Francisco. You will manage 50-75 patients daily across infusion centers, triage acute symptoms, and coordinate care with physicians and APPs.

The role requires California RN and NP licenses with an appropriate furnishing number, BLS/ACLS certifications, and oncology infusion experience. Work in infusion centers and the CACC as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a California Board of Registered Nursing approved school with a master’s degree in nursing or a DNP.
• NP licensure in California and NP furnishing number as applicable.
• Board certification for NP (e.g., acute or oncology focused) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Triage clinical concerns and ensure continuity of care with physicians, surgeons, and APP colleagues.
• Provide ambulatory care across Infusion centers and the Cancer Acute Care Clinic (CACC).
• Coordinate direct hospital admissions when higher care is needed and facilitate emergency evaluation.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support timely patient treatment and outcomes.
