Job summary

Unison is seeking an experienced Senior HR Site Leader to serve as the on-site HR leader for a joint venture in Butte, MT. You will manage a small HR team, own payroll, recruitment, and benefits, and ensure compliance with US and Montana regulations while operating independently.

You will partner with leadership to shape HR strategy, manage supplier relationships, and build a local talent pipeline with regional colleges, ensuring an engaged workforce across 200+ employees.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum of 5 years HR experience in manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Act as sole HR authority on-site with significant autonomy in JV structure.
• Lead and develop a team of 2 HR staff with day-to-day coaching.
• Provide strategic HR counsel to JV leadership on workforce matters and compliance.
• Own end-to-end payroll accountability for ~200+ employees via Paylocity.
• Lead full-cycle recruitment for on-site manufacturing, engineering, and operations.
