Job summary

Premise Health Inc. is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner to serve as the sole provider at our Occupational Health Center in Clayton, NC. The role offers autonomous practice with collaborative support, a predictable schedule, and a strong benefits package.

Responsibilities include exams, procedures, patient care planning, education, diagnostic testing, and coordination with the medical team. Requires NP certification, state licenses, and several years of clinical experience in

Qualifications

• Active RN and NP licenses to practice.
• National NP certification (ANCC or AANP) required.
• Minimum 3+ years NP experience in ambulatory/occupational health or related setting.
• Ability to work independently with clinical support when needed.

Responsibilities

• Conduct physical exams and preventive health care per guidelines.
• Perform injections, suturing, wound care, and infection management.
• Develop care plans, document progress, ensure continuity of care.
• Educate patients on treatment plans and health maintenance.
• Order/interpret diagnostic tests and assess conditions.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams.
• Prescribe medications and therapies as appropriate.
• Refer to specialists when needed.
• Maintain accurate health records and documentation.
• Educate and mentor nursing staff on best practices.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
