Job summary

Premise Health is seeking a Full Time Physician Assistant to work at our Occupational Health Center in Clayton, NC. Enjoy autonomous practice as the sole provider with collaborative support from nearby clinical teams when needed.

Qualifications

• Current NCCPA national certification required
• Federal DEA license (matching each state of practice as applicable)
• State license/certification to practice
• Three years of clinical experience in ambulatory or occupational health settings

Responsibilities

• Conducts physical exams and preventive health measures per guidelines and approved agreements
• Performs injections, suturing, wound care, and infection management
• Develops patient care plans and records progress
• Educates patients on treatment plans and health maintenance
• Orders and interprets diagnostic tests to assess clinical conditions
• Prescribes or recommends treatments, including medications and therapies
• Refers patients to specialists or physicians as needed
• Collaborates with physicians and healthcare teams for comprehensive care
