Job summary

Rehab Without Walls Neuro Rehabilitation, an affiliate of BrightSpring Health Services, seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist to deliver neuro-focused rehab in home and community settings. You will help patients rebuild communication, cognition, and swallowing skills after neurological injury, with clinical autonomy and meaningful, relationship-based work.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology required.
• Valid SLP license in the state(s) of practice.
• CPR certification required.
• Minimum of 1 year work experience as an SLP.
• Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques for complex neurological injury preferred.
• Communicates effectively in verbal and written interactions.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and assist with patient transfers up to 100 pounds.
• Duties require fine motor skills and walking/standing for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Perform evaluations and develop treatment plans for speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders.
• Regularly re-assess treatment effectiveness and participate in staffing meetings.
• Conduct discharge evaluations and provide home/community safety recommendations and resources.
• Communicate patient needs and progress to the treatment team, physician, and family.
• Collaborate with other disciplines to coordinate care and improve outcomes.
