Job summary

Autonomous Solutions, Inc. (ASI) is seeking a Field Technician in Colorado to assure quality and integrity of our Commercial Mowers and new features as they are released.

The role involves traveling to customer sites to install, test and resolve product issues, with occasional customer training. You will work with developers and testers in a collaborative, Agile environment, providing feedback and ensuring readiness as software is deployed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of Field Technician experience.
• Experience with testing tools is a plus: SmartBear, TestComplete, Winnium, Selenium, JMeter, FitNesse, SoapUI, Watir, or similar.
• Comfort using Windows, Linux or Unix as the primary work platform.
• Experience with JIRA or a similar bug tracking system.
• Experience working in an Agile Environment.
• Experience testing desktop, client/server and web applications.
• Truck driving experience is preferred.
• Be involved in End to End testing with multiple teams before deployment to production.
• Must be able to travel up to 50% of the time during our busy season of commercial mowing.

Responsibilities

• The Field Technician ensures the quality and integrity of our Commercial Mowers, their systems, and new features as they are released.
• Travel will be required for this position, traveling to customer sites to install, test, and resolve problems with products/equipment and may provide customer training.
• Test and provide operating feedback, working with developers, testers and business teams as a cohesive unit.
• Lead in managing the mechanical and electrical installations in automating future trucks.
• Serve as a customer contact for problem resolution.
• Work within a highly collaborative environment where developers, testers and the business work together as a team to deliver the best possible software.
• Exercise good judgment in weighing the forces involved in determining software readiness.
• Be able to lift and carry test equipment on a regular basis.
