Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field.
- 7+ years of experience in systems engineering with complex hardware/software integrations.
- Proven track record in the Autonomous Vehicle industry with safety-critical systems.
- Experience with V&V methodologies (ISO 26262, SOTIF/ISO 21448).
Responsibilities
- Define partner-agnostic safety solutions and standardize frameworks for diverse AV tech providers and operators on the Uber platform.
- Define safety requirements for Uber-built autonomous offerings and document them clearly.
- Develop V&V strategies for internal Uber solutions and partner interactions to meet Uber's safety bar.
- Lead technical safety risk assessments for AV partner integrations against Uber's standards.
- Influence long-term product roadmaps and strategic partnerships with safety as a priority.
