Job summary

Careermine is seeking an Autonomous Systems Manager to lead the deployment and scaling of automation across mining operations. You will partner with operations, maintenance, engineering, safety, and IT to translate strategy into safe, reliable site implementations.

This role demands strong change management, cross-functional leadership, and the ability to design roadmaps, run pilots, and drive adoption from pilot to production while meeting safety and governance standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or 12 years of related experience.
• 5 years delivering automation or disruptive tech in mining or heavy industry.
• Minimum 10 years of project management or operational leadership in mining.
• Familiarity with design, planning, operations, maintenance in mining.
• Understanding OT, IT, and wireless systems in mining operations.

Responsibilities

• Act as the Autonomous Technology lead for mining regions, sites, or domains.
• Coordinate pilots, proofs of concept, and trials with clear objectives and metrics.
• Lead a hybrid delivery ecosystem with SMEs, vendors, and internal teams.
• Drive structured change management and adoption across sites.
• Identify opportunities to replicate and scale solutions across mine sites and regions.
