Job summary

Platte Valley Hospital in Brighton, Colorado, is seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery RN for night shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM). The role offers autonomy within a supportive team, with opportunities for career advancement across Women’s Services and flexible scheduling.

Location: Platte Valley Hospital. Part-time, 24 hours/week. Requirements include RN licensure, BSN within four years, and BLS. Experience with L&D, C-section circulation, and EFM is preferred, alongside NICU exposure.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of practice.
• Compact licenses must be transferred to the state of practice within 60 days of start.
• RNs with less than 12 months experience must obtain BSN within four years of hire.

Responsibilities

• OB triage and patient assessment.
• Labor support and fetal monitoring.
• Vaginal deliveries and C-sections circulation.
• Postpartum recovery and newborn education.
• Collaboration with physicians, anesthesia and care teams.
