Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state of practice.
• Compact license transfers must be completed within 60 days.
• Minimum 1 year RN experience in critical care or acute care.
• BLS Certification for Healthcare Providers.
• BSN is required; degree will be verified.
• RNs with less than 12 months of experience must obtain a BSN within four years.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate nursing care to laboring, postpartum, and newborn patients.
• Assess, monitor, and document maternal and fetal health during labor and delivery.
• Assist physicians, midwives, and team during labor, delivery, and recovery.
• Administer medications and interventions per clinical standards.
• Educate patients and families on childbirth, postpartum care, and newborn care.
• Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, care provided, and outcomes.
