Job summary

Local Infusion is seeking an Infusion Nurse in Lynchburg, VA to deliver high-quality infusion therapy with autonomy and clinical excellence. You will manage IV starts, document patient health status, and collaborate with providers to ensure optimal care for every patient.

Ideal candidates hold an Virginia RN license, outpatient infusion experience, and are comfortable working in a fast-paced setting with a 3:1 patient-to-clinician ratio.

Qualifications

• Current RN license (Virginia) with ability to obtain licensure in other states.
• Experience in outpatient infusion therapy in a clinical setting.
• Comfortable working autonomously and inserting 5+ peripheral IVs per shift.
• ACLS & PALS certification (preferred).
• Current BLS CPR certification.
• Experience and familiarity with Electronic Health Records (EHR).

Responsibilities

• Assess and document the health status of the patient.
• Deliver infusions or injections per prescribed protocols and guidelines.
• Assist in maintaining medical inventory and supplies.
• Openly communicate with referring/prescribing providers about status and plan of care.
• Provide onsite supervision for all patients.
