Job summary

Local Infusion is seeking an Infusion Nurse in Virginia who is passionate about elevating infusion therapy care. The role involves patient assessment, delivering infusions, and supervising care onsite, with emphasis on autonomous practice and collaborative communication with providers.

Requirements include current VA RN licensure (with willingness to obtain other state licenses), outpatient infusion experience, strong IV skills, and familiarity with EHR systems. Some Saturday work is expected.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in Virginia; open to licensing in another state.
• Experience in outpatient infusion therapy in a clinical setting with multiple patients.
• Comfortable working autonomously and placing 5+ peripheral IVs per shift.
• ACLS & PALS certification preferred.
• Current BLS CPR certification.
• Excellent IV skills and familiarity with EHR systems.
• Willingness to work 1–2 Saturdays per month.

Responsibilities

• Assess and document the health status of the patient.
• Deliver infusions or injections per prescribed protocols and guidelines.
• Assist in maintaining medical inventory and supplies.
• Openly communicate with referring/prescribing providers about orders and patient plans.
• Provide onsite supervision for all patients.
