Job summary

Fox Rehabilitation is seeking licensed Speech Language Pathologists to deliver one-on-one care for older adults in Olney, MD—either in private residences or Senior Living Communities—under the Geriatric House Calls model. Clinicians may also incorporate telehealth and other virtual care for greater flexibility and continuity of care.

Qualifications

• Valid Speech Language Pathology license in state(s) of practice or eligibility to obtain.
• Degree from an accredited Speech Language Pathology program.
• Current CPR certification.
• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (ASHA CCC).

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one Speech Language Pathology to older adults in homes or senior living settings.
• Perform evaluations, develop individualized plans of care, and deliver evidence-based treatment.
• Deliver therapy sessions that support wellness, longevity, mobility, and functional independence.
• Document effectively within FOX’s EMR system per regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team (PTs, OTs, SLPs, Fitness Specialists).
• Educate patients, caregivers, and staff to promote safety and aging in place.
• Provide telehealth / virtual care when appropriate to extend access.
