The ideal candidate will hold a current California Speech Therapist License and be experienced in home health care. Qualifications

• Knowledge of human behavior relating to illness/injury.
• Understanding of the influence of culture on health care.
• Experience in home health care highly preferred.
• Experience with high acuity patients is a plus.
• Experience working with an interdisciplinary team is highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled services to assist patients with breathing, speaking, and swallowing functions.
• Evaluate and treat speech, language, cognitive and fluency disorders affecting communication.
• Serve as an educator, patient advocate, and interdisciplinary care team member.
