Job summary

Signature Healthcare at Home is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant to cover Whidbey Island (Oak Harbor, Coupeville, Langley, Freeland, Clinton, Greenbank, Bayview) for home health services. The role offers a $5,000 sign-on bonus and a flexible schedule with visits Monday through Friday, day shift, self-directed scheduling based on patient needs.

Qualifications

• Graduated from a CAPTE-approved Physical Therapy Assistant program.
• Passed national exam for PTAs and hold WA state license to practice.
• Maintain an active BLS CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct physical therapy per supervising PT and plan of care.
• Assist patient with therapeutic exercises, gait training, and mobility tasks.
• Instruct patients in use of assistive devices and safety in home settings.
• Maintain clinical records and notes within required time frames.
• Coordinate travel and visits across Whidbey Island communities.
