Eagle-X in El Segundo, CA is seeking a Guidance, Navigation & Control (GNC) Software Engineer to join our aerospace team focused on autonomous systems. You will design high-performance GNC algorithms and collaborate with AI, software and systems engineers to deliver reliable, real-time solutions.

The role offers ownership of technical direction, opportunities to build production-ready software, and room to grow with a growing high-tech organisation.

Qualifications

• Commercial experience in aerospace, robotics or defence environments.
• Experience with GNC, localisation, estimation or navigation algorithms.
• Strong C++ and Python programming skills.
• Real-time or safety-critical software development experience.
• GPU programming or software optimisation (CUDA).
• Proficient with Linux, Git and modern SDLC practices.

Responsabilités

• Design and develop GNC software.
• Develop estimation, tracking and navigation algorithms.
• Build predictive models using probabilistic and ML techniques.
• Improve software performance for real-time applications.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver robust solutions.
