Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required.
• Board certification in geriatrics, internal or family medicine preferred.
• Active medical license in the employing state; DEA license required.
• Experience with EMR systems and clinical documentation.
• Strong collaboration, compassion, and patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Provide history and physicals on new patients and conduct weekly rounds.
• Partner with Advanced Practice Providers to manage regulatory and complex visits.
• Oversee APP performance and mentor the team.
• Close quality gaps and improve patient outcomes.
• Advocate for residents and represent Curana Health’s mission in communities.

Education

MD or DO degree

Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Geriatrics, or Hospital Medicine

Current unrestricted license to practice medicine in the state of employment

Active DEA License

Proficiency with EMR systems
