Job summary

Kelsey-Seybold Clinic, part of the Optum family, is seeking an experienced physician in Texas to join our multi-specialty network serving Houston. You will provide outpatient care, driving high-quality, coordinated services in a supportive environment.

See adult patients 18+ in a clinic setting from 8am to 5pm, Monday through Friday. You will order tests, arrange referrals to specialists, and use EPIC for collaborative patient care across the system.

Qualifications

• Medical degree (MD or DO) required.
• Texas licensure or the ability to obtain it.
• Board certification or eligibility in Family or Internal Medicine.
• Valid DEA license or ability to obtain prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Examine adult patients 18+ and manage care across multiple conditions.
• Order tests, perform follow-ups, and refer to specialists as needed.
• Interpret basic tests and imaging to plan patient care.
• See patients in the outpatient setting 8am–5pm, Mon–Fri.
• Collaborate with nursing and admin staff; occasional on-call duties.
• Utilize EPIC throughout the system to support care coordination.
