Job summary

Kelsey-Seybold Clinic, part of the Optum family, invites Internal Medicine physicians to join our team serving Houston and surrounding areas. Our clinics care for adults 18+ with a focus on prevention, accurate diagnosis, and coordinated management across 65 specialties.

Office hours are 8am–5pm, Monday through Friday, with call groups that may involve periodic hospital admissions. EPIC is used for patient care and collaboration across the system.

Qualifications

• MD/DO required and licensed to practice in Texas.
• Accredited Residency training.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible.

Responsibilities

• Examine adult patients 18+ to ensure proper care, disease prevention, diagnosis, treatment and recovery of medical conditions.
• Order medically necessary tests, perform follow-up visits and place referrals to specialists.
• Interpret basic medical tests and imaging to plan patient care; EPIC EHR is used across the system.
