Job summary

Otis & Bedingfield, LLC, a Northern Colorado AV-rated law firm, seeks an Estate Planning Attorney to run your own matters end-to-end—from intake to signing. You will be the primary client contact, shaping how the practice grows and assuming real responsibility within a seasoned team.

You’ll draft estate plans, manage probate and trust administration, and lead client meetings with independent judgment. A standout opportunity for growth and leadership in a well-established firm.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school and Colorado bar admission.
• At least 5 years drafting estate plans and handling probate and trust administration.
• Ability to manage your own caseload with independent judgment.
• Comfort leading client meetings and signings without supervision.
• Strong drafting, communication, and client-management skills.
• Health, dental, and vision insurance; Colorado bar dues and CLE reimbursement.

Responsibilities

• Assist with estate planning matters from intake through execution.
• Draft estate plans, SLATs, ILITs, DAPTs, and related documents.
• Handle probate and trust administration, including court filings.
• Serve as primary client contact and guide day-to-day decisions.
• Maintain timelines and keep clients informed throughout the process.
• Supervise paralegals and support staff using firm templates and checklists.
• Contribute to refining templates and workflows as the practice grows.
