Otis & Bedingfield, LLC, a Northern Colorado AV-rated law firm, seeks an Estate Planning Attorney to run your own matters end-to-end—from intake to signing. You will be the primary client contact, shaping how the practice grows and assuming real responsibility within a seasoned team.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school and Colorado bar admission.
• At least 5 years drafting estate plans and handling probate and trust administration.
• Ability to manage your own caseload with independent judgment.
• Comfort leading client meetings and signings without supervision.
• Strong drafting, communication, and client-management skills.
• Health, dental, and vision insurance; Colorado bar dues and CLE reimbursement.

Responsabilités

• Assist with estate planning matters from intake through execution.
• Draft estate plans, SLATs, ILITs, DAPTs, and related documents.
• Handle probate and trust administration, including court filings.

Otis & Bedingfield, LLC, an AV-rated law firm in Northern Colorado, is hiring an Estate Planning Attorney to join a well-established estate planning and administration practice. You'll run your own matters from first consultation through signing, serve as the primary contact for your clients, and help shape how the practice grows. This role is for a lawyer who wants real responsibility.

What You'll Do

• Assist with a caseload of estate planning matters — wills, revocable trusts, powers of attorney, and healthcare directives — from intake through execution
• Contribute to taxable estate plans including drafting of SLATs, ILITs, DAPTs, etc.
• Handle probate and trust administration matters, including court filings and guidance for personal representatives and trustees
• Serve as a point of contact for clients and make the day-to-day legal decisions on your files
• Keep matters moving and deadlines met without needing reminders, and keep clients informed along the way
• Delegate to and supervise paralegal and support staff using the firm's established checklists and review procedures
• Help refine the practice's templates, workflows, and processes as it grows

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• At least 5 years of experience drafting estate plans and handling probate and trust administration
• A track record of managing your own caseload with sound independent judgment
• Comfortable leading client meetings and signings on your own
• Strong drafting, communication, and client-management skills
• Low billable requirements
