Job summary

Amazon Prime Air is hiring an Autonomous Vehicle Assistant in Georgia to support drone delivery operations, ground support, and community engagement. You will handle equipment, monitor work areas, and assist with warehouse tasks while upholding safety standards.

The role requires physical ability, flexibility to work nights/weekends, and up to 25% travel. This is an on-site position with opportunities to grow within our Prime Air team.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and equipment troubleshooting.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, team environment.
• Strong attention to safety and ability to follow detailed procedures.
• Willing to travel to local sites up to 25% of the time.
• Valid Driver's License required.

Responsibilities

• Support daily drone operations by handling equipment, including batteries and related components.
• Monitor airspace in the area of operations and report any potential hazards or obstacles.
• Assist with basic warehouse tasks including inventory management and package preparation.
• Execute standard operating procedures while maintaining safety and compliance standards.
• Engage positively with community members and address basic inquiries about our operations.
• Document and report operational activities using standard templates and tools.
• Safely and efficiently deliver packages to customers by car, ensuring on-time arrival, accurate handling, and adherence to traffic laws.
