Job summary

Wayve is seeking an Automotive Systems Engineer to help shape system design for L2+/L3 autonomous driving and ADAS products. You will work across vehicle platforms, collaborating with product, software and hardware teams to define and integrate requirements, architectures and validation plans in automotive contexts.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in systems engineering or automotive development.
• Defined and managed requirements for complex systems (ADAS or automated driving).
• Knowledge of automotive safety standards (ISO 26262) and data-/test-driven development.
• Hands-on experience validating and troubleshooting systems in real‑world conditions.

Responsibilities

• Define clear, actionable system requirements for L2+/L3 automated driving and ADAS products.
• Collaborate with product managers, software developers and hardware teams ensuring traceability.
• Define data collection needs, driving scenarios, KPIs and system behavior specifications.
• Translate requirements into automotive-grade system architectures with cross-functional teams.
• Test, validate and troubleshoot system behavior in vehicles.
• Support OEM customers and promote automotive-grade development practices.
