PlusAI, a Silicon Valley Physical AI company, is seeking a Perception Intern to join the perception team and tackle real-world autonomous vehicle challenges in a state-of-the-art simulation pipeline.

You will train, fine-tune, and deploy multimodal deep learning models into production while collaborating with engineers to integrate algorithms into the production AV stack. This internship targets MS/PhD candidates, with a focus on Python, ML/DL, and 3D vision.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing an MS or PhD in CS, EE, robotics, or related field.
• Strong Python software development skills.
• Solid background in machine learning and deep learning.
• Practical experience in 3D computer vision.

Responsibilities

• Emergency Vehicle Detection: develop technologies to detect emergency vehicles from temporal camera sequences.
• Algorithm Development & Benchmarking: design, implement, and benchmark deep learning perception techniques.
• Production Stack Integration: collaborate with engineering teams to integrate models into the production AV stack.
