Job summary

Headway ABA is seeking a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) for a part time or full-time, on-site/hybrid role in North Carolina. The BCBA will conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, oversee ABA therapy implementation, and train staff, while working closely with families to provide education and ensure open communication.

The role emphasizes continuous monitoring of client progress, data-driven decision making, and compliance with insurance, funding, and regulatory

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in ABA or related field required.
• BCBA certification and active state licensure required.
• Assent-based, play-based, child-led ABA approach expected.
• Experience with FBAs and skills assessments (VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R, AFLS, etc.) preferred.
• Ability to supervise RBTs and collaborate with families.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Oversee ABA therapy implementation across settings.
• Train and supervise staff delivering ABA services.
• Collaborate with families and caregivers for parent education.
• Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Maintain documentation and ensure regulatory compliance.
