Job summary

My Health Onsite is seeking a licensed APRN to join Citrus and Hernando County Employee Health and Wellness Centers on a PRN basis. You will perform physical exams, diagnose and treat, prescribe medications, and educate patients in a patient-centered setting.

As an autonomous APRN, you will manage a moderate patient load, collaborate with medical staff, and support wellness education programs. Florida APRN license, dispensing license, DEA and BLS are required.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited college or university.
Graduate of an APRN program approved by the Florida Board of Nursing.
2+ years of clinical APRN experience, preferably in primary or urgent care.
Current and unrestricted APRN license (Florida).
Dispensing license (Florida) or willingness to obtain one.
DEA license and BLS Certification for Healthcare Providers.

Responsibilities

Perform physical examinations of patients, assessment and treatment of injuries or illnesses.
Order and interpret standard tests to aid diagnosis and treatment.
Document assessments and care in the EMR with confidentiality.
Educate patients on illness, treatment, and self-care.
Assist medical staff with procedures and promote wellness programs.
