Job summary

Teradata, Boise, Idaho, is seeking an experienced architect for autonomous AI agents to design scalable, governance-focused AI capabilities within our data and AI platform. You will help agents reason, plan, act, and collaborate in production environments, collaborating with researchers, platform engineers, and product leadership.

You will advance enterprise-grade AI capabilities with strong emphasis on safety, compliance, and collaboration across teams, delivering measurable business value

Qualifications

• Proven experience designing, developing, and deploying autonomous AI agents at scale.
• Expertise in building agent-based architectures and runtime components for next‑generation AI/LLM systems.
• Hands-on experience implementing governance, safety, and compliance in agentic AI environments.
• Ability to partner with product leaders, architects, and platform teams to deliver enterprise-grade AI capabilities.
• Strong technical ability with intelligent automation and agentic system design.

Responsibilities

• Design and build intelligent, autonomous AI systems for Teradata’s platform.
• Lead scalable, secure, cloud-native frameworks enabling AI agents to reason, plan, act, and collaborate.
• Create runtime components, automation, and infrastructure for GenAI and Agentic AI solutions.
• Collaborate with AI researchers, platform teams, and product leadership to translate concepts to production.
• Help customers leverage safe, resilient AI agents that drive measurable business value.
