Essential Job Duties

Full Service

• Receive labels from the supervisor for parts to be pulled.
• Pull and retrieve parts from vehicles in the yard.
• Inspect parts and notify the supervisor of any damage.
• Stage parts for delivery drivers.
• Operate a forklift or order selector to transport parts within the warehouse.
• Sort and place parts and supplies on racks, shelves, or in bins.
• Respond to customer counter sales by receiving orders, pulling products, and loading them into customer vehicles.
• Verify in-stock positions for inside sales staff.
• Classify returns based on condition and prepare inventory adjustment forms.
• Check in defective parts and process vendor returns.
• Sign off on deleted tickets, explaining reasons.
• Load trucks according to schedule and perform final checks.
• Stage wheel cores for return to remanufacturing facilities.
• Maintain orderliness and cleanliness of work areas.
• Support continuous improvement of LKQ’s quality system.

Self Service

• Operate equipment to move cars and assist in yard operations.
• Clean debris from cars before processing.
• Pull batteries for testing and resale; bring charged batteries to retail area.
• Work with loaders to stage or pull cars.
• Walk the yard and manage debris removal.
• Dismantle tires.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment, adhering to EPA and OSHA regulations.
• Wear all required PPE and follow company policies.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Not responsible for supervising employees.

Minimum Requirements

Education & Experience

0+ years of experience; warehouse experience preferred but not required, with on-the-job training provided.

Preferred Requirements

High School Diploma/GED; forklift certification beneficial.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

• Basic math skills.

• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and standard procedures.

Physical Demands & Work Environment

Must be able to stand, walk, lift up to 75 pounds, and work in various conditions including extreme temperatures and noisy environments. PPE may be required. Travel may be necessary.
