Job summary

Cox Automotive Inc. is seeking an on-site Vehicle Inspector to verify vehicle information upon receipt, document findings, and perform end-of-day procedures. You will conduct thorough inspections, write ECRs, and stay current with inspection techniques and system tools.

The role requires strong communication, basic mechanical knowledge, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Overtime may be required based on business needs.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Verify vehicle information and identify damage or mechanical issues during intake.
• Prepare and complete all necessary documentation.
• Set up system for day-end procedures.
• Maintain knowledge of policies and procedures.
• Write electronic condition reports (ECR).
• Conduct courtesy walk-around inspections.
• Know system capabilities and relevant software/web apps.
• Keep up-to-date with body, mechanical, frame inspection techniques.
• Follow safety procedures and participate in Safety Excellence activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned; overtime may be required.
