Tim Dahle Auto Group is seeking an Automotive Title Clerk to process title work for new and used vehicles, ensuring accurate registration and document handling. You will prepare tax and title documents, submit transfers to the DMV, and verify lien payoff details with precision.

The role requires 1+ year of automotive title processing experience, strong organizational skills, and familiarity with title regulations.

Qualifications

• Automotive Title processing experience REQUIRED of 1 or more years.
• Stays abreast of title regulations and attends trainings when available.
• Knowledge of automotive titles, registration processes, and dealership experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Processes all new and used vehicles for registration in the state in which they will be titled.
• Prepares tax and title documents.
• Submits all legal transfer work to the Department of Motor Vehicles.
• Verifies that funds have been collected and the correct lienholder paid off before processing title applications.
• Checks for accuracy in the application and ensures that information is complete.
• Prepares payoff checks for new vehicles and trade-ins.
• Maintains a system to verify out-of-state titles.
• Compiles and maintains a complete list of all outstanding title work; reports to management on status of missing or problem titles.
