Hamer Toyota, a Ken Garff Automotive Dealership, is hiring an Automotive Title Licensing Clerk in Los Angeles. The role focuses on DMV transfers, titling registrations, and accurate tax/title documentation.

Training and growth opportunities are provided along with a supportive team atmosphere. The ideal candidate has 1 year title clerk experience or 2+ years clerical work, strong reading comprehension, and proficiency with MS Office.

• 1 year of experience in a title clerk position
• 2+ years of clerical and/or administrative experience
• Must be able to read and comprehend instructions and information
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office software products and calculator use
• High School Diploma or equivalent

Responsabilidades

• Perform and prepare all legal documents needed for DMV transfers
• Process new and used vehicles for registration and titling
• Prepare all tax and title documents for vehicles
• Verify funds and pay lien holds before processing title applications
• Quality check all documents for completeness
• Bill out dealer trades as needed
• Other duties as assigned

The pay scale above is the compensation range that the Company reasonably expects to pay for this position. Within this range, individual pay is determined by several factors including, but not limited to, specific skills, relevant work experience, relevant education and/or training, and performance related bonuses and incentives.

Here's what you'll be doing:

• Perform and prepare all legal documents needed for the transfer for the Department of Motor Vehicles
• Process new and used vehicles for registration as needed to be titled.
• Prepare all tax and title documents for vehicles
• Verify that all funds are processed, and the correct lien hold is paid before processing the title applications
• Quality check all documents submitted to ensure the application has all information needed.
• Responsible for billing out dealer trades as needed
• Other duties as assigned

Here's what you'll need:

• 1 year of experience in a title clerk position required
• 2 or more years of clerical and or administrative experience preferred
• Must have the ability to read and comprehend instructions and information
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office software products, and the general use of a computer and calculator
• High School Diploma or equivalent
