Mercedes-Benz of Richmond/Midlothian is seeking a detail-oriented License & Title Specialist to join our accounting and administrative team in Richmond, VA. This role handles title and registration processing, ensuring DMV compliance and accurate record-keeping for new and used vehicle sales.

The ideal candidate has dealership title experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-2 years of title processing or dealership administrative experience preferred.
• Previous automotive dealership title clerk experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Virginia DMV procedures strongly preferred.
• Strong organizational/time-management skills and attention to detail.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Process title and registration paperwork for vehicle sales.
• Submit title applications to the DMV on time.
• Verify contracts, title applications, odometer statements for accuracy.
• Process lien recordings, releases, and title corrections.
• Monitor title inventory and follow up on issues.
• Maintain accurate title logs and records.
• Assist with audits and compliance reviews.
• Provide administrative and accounting support as needed.
