Job summary

Ford of Murfreesboro is seeking an experienced automotive Title Clerk/Biller to process tag and title paperwork for all vehicles, ensuring accuracy in a fast-paced environment. The role requires strong attention to detail and dependable teamwork to deliver reliable service to customers and vendors.

The ideal candidate has experience with tag/title work, solid Excel/Word skills, and the ability to multi-task while meeting deadlines.

Qualifications

Experience working with tag/title is required.
Experience in accounting is helpful.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
Ability to prioritize work to meet deadlines.
Self-starter and ability to multi-task.
Effective Communication Skills.
Must be able to pass pre-employment screening to include MVR, credit and background check and drug screen.
Applicants must be authorized to work in the US.

Responsibilities

Process vehicle tag and title paperwork on all vehicles sold.
Maintain compliance with all Title laws and filing requirements.
Issue checks to tag Registration Offices for fees due and refund checks to customers as needed.
Accurately record and file completed vehicle sales deals.
Troubleshoot and resolve title-related issues such as odometer discrepancies and powers of attorney.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
