LaFontaine Automotive Group in Michigan is hiring an Automotive Biller/Title Clerk to process new and used vehicle deals and prepare DMV title documents. You will verify funds, lien payoff statuses, and ensure accuracy of registrations across states.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required or GED.
• Automotive dealership exposure preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Processes all new and used vehicles for registration in the state in which they will be titled.
• CVR processing for new and used car purchases.
• Prepares tax and title documents.
• Submits legal transfer work to DMV.
• Verifies funds and lien payoff status before title processing.
• Checks for accuracy in applications and completes all information.
• Prepares payoff checks for new vehicles and trades.
• Bills dealer trades and prepares Certificates of Origin.
• Maintains system to verify out-of-state titles.
• Prepares monthly titles/claims reports and tracks outstanding titles.
