Job summary

Walmart is seeking a Tire & Battery Center Technician to provide safe, efficient service in both sales and service areas and assist members with needs and purchases. You will collaborate with teammates, mentor new technicians, and ensure safety and compliance across duties.

Responsibilities emphasize using handheld tech, maintaining inventory, handling cash registers, and delivering a high-quality member experience consistent with Walmart standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualifications: Valid state-issued driver’s license and being 18 years of age or older.
• Preferred Qualifications: Auto service industry experience and retail experience.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with team to fulfill sales and service requests educating other associates on tools tasks resources and mentor new technicians.
• Demonstrate knowledge of safety and compliance protocols tire and battery industry guidelines and service standards.
• Leverage handheld technology to plan for and drive sales, improve the service experience and elevate associate engagement.
• Process cash transactions, manage inventory, and maintain audit and safety standards.
• Identify member needs, assist with purchasing decisions, and resolve issues and concerns.
• Report TBC complaints, safety hazards and documentation, and address product/service issues.
