Job summary

Thomas & Reed, LLC is seeking a Technician L2 to perform high temperature chassis dynamometer tests, assist with instrumentation installation, and support vehicle testing at ADC Raymond OH onsite. This 12-month assignment may extend, with overtime and travel as required.

Responsibilities include test prep, data acquisition setup, part changes, and offsite testing preparation. Candidates should have a two-year electronics or automotive degree, experience with data acquisition hardware and

Qualifications

  • Two year degree in electronics or automotive field is required.
  • Experience with data acquisition hardware and software is preferred.
  • Strong vehicle instrumentation and testing aptitude.

Responsibilities

  • High temperature chassis dynamometer test and prep.
  • Assist with installation of thermocouples and harnesses for data acquisition.
  • Assist in part changes during chassis dynamometer testing.
  • Hot weather field testing and extreme temperature testing prep.
  • Prepare vehicles for offsite testing with instrumentation checks.
  • Operate data acquisition hardware on tests and on public roads when needed.
  • Support wiring, harness construction, and test equipment maintenance.
  • Assist engineers with testing and vehicle preps as needed.
