Job summary

Thomas & Reed, LLC in Raymond, OH seeks a Technician - Level 2 on a contract basis. You will support high temperature chassis dynamometer tests, instrumentation installation, data acquisition setup, and vehicle prep for extreme conditions.

The role requires hands-on wiring, harness fabrication, ability to travel, and availability for overtime; experience with automotive systems and data acquisition hardware/software is preferred.

Responsibilities

• High temperature chassis dynamometer test and prep; assist with harnesses and data acquisition; vehicle mockups.
• Assist in part changes during chassis dynamometer testing.
• Hot weather field testing and offsite vehicle prep; install parts and verify instrumentation.
• Drive or operate data acquisition on public roads for testing and validation.
• Water fording and snow ingress test prep; follow setup sheets and install instrumentation.
• Electronics work: designing, constructing, and repairing wire harnesses; maintain test equipment.
• Assist with other testing and vehicle preps as needed.
