Job summary

Akkodis is seeking a full-time Validation Engineer (Test Bench Specialist) to join our dedicated team for a domestic vehicle manufacturer in the Dallas, TX area onsite or hybrid. You will design, build, maintain and support vehicle-level and system integration test benches for Connected Services validation, ensuring environments stay current with released software and hardware.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in automotive electronics, validation, strong test bench development and system integration.
• Strong knowledge of Vector CAN tools, UDS Diagnostics, and automotive ECU architectures.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, configure, and validate component-level, subsystem-level, and end-to-end integration test benches.
• Develop and maintain test setups supporting Connected Services, telematics, OTA, cloud-connected, and vehicle integration testing.
• Create and maintain wiring schematics, harnesses, connector mappings, and hardware interface documentation.
• Support validation teams in reproducing customer and field issues within bench environments.
• Configure and maintain remote-access workstations, engineering PCs, and supporting software tools.
