Job summary

CDK Global is hiring a full-time outside Account Development Executive who thrives on bringing in new business and building relationships in a field sales role. The position creates relationships exclusively in Competitive Dealership Accounts within a defined territory.

You will grow market share through conquest sales, selling CDK’s broad product portfolio and collaborating with channel partners. Earn base salary with commissions; travel 75% in the field, including overnight travel, and meet or

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
• 5-7 years in an outside sales business development role or equivalent.
• Experience selling complex solutions to automotive dealerships.
• Consultative solution selling to align client needs with a solution.
• Proven track record selling B2B.
• Knowledge of automotive retail processes and products.
• Familiarity with dealer tools including CRMs, desking solutions, and DMS.
• Strong communication skills and customer-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

• Aggressively acquire new business in competitive accounts.
• Create activity by cold calling into competitive accounts daily.
• Identify and define growth opportunities in the market.
• Develop an overall sales plan and forecast sales results.
• Travel 75% in the field, including overnight travel.
• Work independently or in a team environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM tools.
• Follow all CDK Global policies and procedures.
• Meet or exceed all performance expectations.
