Midlands Technical College seeks an Automotive Technology Professor to deliver high-quality instruction across classroom, lab, and hands-on settings, preparing students for success in today’s automotive industry.

The role maintains instructional materials, supports student learning outcomes assessment, and collaborates with program leadership to ensure a safe and effective learning environment. Beltline Campus is the designated location.

Qualifications

• Minimum of an associate's degree in Automotive Technology.
• At least 3 years of direct Automotive Technology experience.
• Master ASE certification required.

Responsabilités

• Deliver high-quality instruction in classrooms, labs, and hands-on settings.
• Maintain instructional materials and equipment for the program.
• Assess and support student learning outcomes and maintain records.
• Collaborate with program leadership to ensure a safe and effective learning environment.
• Prepare course materials, syllabi, and testing instruments; submit grades timely.
• Stay current in the automotive field and relate instruction to course objectives.
• Assist Program Director with lab supplies and equipment needs.
• Engage students and use LMS to communicate with learners and staff.
