Position Overview

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach automotive courses and provide critical feedback to support student success
  • Develop culturally responsive curriculum and effective teaching strategies for diverse students

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree + 2 years professional experience OR Associate’s degree + 6 years professional experience
Educational Resources
  • ASE Certifications: General Automotive (G1), Electrical Systems (A6), and 609 Air Conditioning

Desired Qualifications
  • 6+ years working in automotive mechanics, repair, or technician roles
  • 2+ years teaching experience (high school, college, private institute, OEM, aftermarket)
  • ASE Master Certification, L1, L2, L3 certifications

  • California SMOG Certification
  • CDL License
  • Advanced Driving Assistance Systems (ADAS) experience
  • Tire Industry Association Certification
